A man’s stomach shall be satisfied
from the fruit of his mouth;
From the produce of his lips
he shall be filled
Death and life are in the power
of the tongue.
And they that love it shall eat the
fruit thereof.
Solomon
Proverbs 18:20-21
POWER OF WORDS...
A careless word may kindle strife,
A cruel word may wreck a life,
A bitter word may hate instill,
A brutal word may smite and kill,
A gracious word may smooth the way,
A joyous word may light the day;
A timeless word may lessen stress,
A loving word may heal and bless.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil,
speak good things?
For out of the abundance of the heart
the mouth speaks.
A good man out of the good treasure
of his heart brings forth good things,
and an evil man out of the evil treasure
brings forth evil things.
Jesus Christ
Matthew 12:34-35

Quotes about gratitude to help
you get through the day…
I would maintain that thanks are the
highest form of thought and that
gratitude is happiness doubled by
wonder.
- Gilbert K. Chesterton
The unthankful heart discovers
no mercies; but the thankful heart
will find, in every hour,
some heavenly blessings.
- Henry Ward Beecher
Gratitude doesn’t change the scenery.
It merely washes clean the glass you
look through so you can clearly see
the colors.
- Richelle E. Goodrich
Gratitude is the healthiest of all
human emotions. The more you
express gratitude for what you have,
the more likely you will have even
more to express gratitude for.
- Zig Ziglar
Gratitude is riches.
Complaint is poverty.
- Doris Day
Learn to be thankful for what you
already have, while you pursue all
that you want.
- John Rohn
It’s not possible to experience
constant euphoria,
but if you’re grateful, you can find
Happiness in everything
- Pharrell Williams
As we express our gratitude,
we must never forget that the
highest appreciation is not
to utter words, but to live by them.
- John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Be thankful for what you have;
you’ll end up having more.
If you concentrate on what
you don’t have,
you will never, ever have enough.
- Oprah Winfrey
Never take anything for granted.
- Benjamin Disraeli

The Guy in the Glass…
When you get what you want in your struggle for pelf,
And the world makes you King for a day,
Then go to the mirror and look at yourself,
And see what that guy has to say.
For it isn't your father, or mother, or wife,
Who judgment upon you must pass.
The feller whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the guy staring back from the glass.
He's the feller to please, never mind all the rest,
For he's with you clear up to the end,
And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test
If the guy in the glass is your friend.
You may be like Jack Horner and "chisel" a plum,
And think you're a wonderful guy,
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.
You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years,
And get pats on the back as you pass,
But your final reward will be heartaches and tears
If you've cheated the guy in the glass.

To Thine Own Self Be True
By
thine own soul's law learn to live,
And if men thwart thee take no heed,
And if men hate thee have no care;
Sing thou thy song and do thy deed.
Hope thou thy hope and pray thy prayer,
And claim no crown they will not give,
Nor bays they grudge thee for thy hair.
Keep thou thy soul-worn steadfast oath,
And to thy heart be true thy heart;
What thy soul teaches learn to know,
And play out thine appointed part,
And thou shalt reap as thou shalt sow,
Nor helped nor hindered in thy growth,
To thy full stature thou shalt grow.
Fix on the future's goal thy face,
And let thy feet be lured to stray
Nowhither, but be swift to run,
And nowhere tarry by the way,
Until at last the end is won
And thou mayst look back from thy place
And see thy long day's journey done.

FYI… KENTUCKY’S BACK…
Coach Mark Pope and
his Wildcats just snapped
a 9-game losing streak to
Duke.
BBN is pumped!
Go Wildcats!
Personally, I have not been
This excited about Kentucky
Basketball in a very long
Time…
U.K. now leads the
series 13 – 11.
The No. 19 Kentucky Wildcats overcame a 9-point deficit
at the half to defeat the No. 6 Duke Blue Devils, 77-72,
in the State Farm Champions Classic.
Andrew Carr led Kentucky with 17 PTS while Duke
freshman Cooper Flagg recorded 26 PTS & 12 REB in the loss.
