Loving God, Help us remember the first coming of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness
of the shepherds, and worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate and open the door of love in our
hearts. May the forgiving spirit of Christ prevail again on
earth. May hunger disappear and terrorists cease their
senseless acts. May the violence in our streets turn to
peace. May people live in freedom, worshipping you
without fear. May peace, everlasting peace, reign supreme.
May we wait with anticipation for the second coming of
Jesus our Lord. In His name we pray, Amen.
